HIGH UVA AND UVB SPECTRUM WITH OUTPUTS OF 35, 50, 70 OR 150 W. MORE UVB, FEWER WATTS SIMULATES NATURAL SUNLIGHT

Configuration:
The popular SolarRaptor HID Lamp is a UV emitter which is based on the latest technology of high pressure metal halide lamps and attains the required UVB and UVA values for reptiles despite the wide angle of their beams. The brightness of this lamp is very close to the natural spectrum of the sun (about 70,000 Lux at a distance of 30 cm) and is therefore much higher than fluorescent lamps, spots, mixed light or metal halide lamps.

Installing the SolarRaptor HID lamp:
Screw in the bulb to a thermally stable E27 lamp holder and wire the holder to a SolarRaptor EVG (ballast). The light colour of a lamp should always approach the colour of natural conditions and is 5000 Kelvin (“daylight”) in this version. We avoided the use of different colour temperatures on purpose. 5000 Kelvin is the best colour temperature to simulate the sun and is the best colour temperature for plants and animals in all applications.
